Y5/6 Teacher (temporary - maternity cover)
We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and creative part time class teacher(s) to join our existing team from January 2025. This post is temporary from January 2025 for the rest of the 24/25 academic year.
Salary: Main Scale
We are seeking someone with true passion for making a difference to our pupils and ensuring all children achieve, regardless of their individual needs.
Our ideal candidate:
•has recent Y5/6 experience and a thorough understanding of the Y5/6 curriculum
•is skilled at developing children with a clear knowledge of the child as a learner and their next steps
•has experience of working with children with additional needs, including SEMH
•is a dynamic teacher who has a positive, growth mindset and can work effectively as part of a team
•is innovative, creative, committed to the delivery of a well-rounded curriculum and to the development of an environment where children can flourish
•is passionate about developing ‘the whole child’, building confidence and developing skills for life
•is committed to the wellbeing and development of all, has high expectations of all and is understanding of individual needs
•values, supports and celebrates individuals

School Business Manager
Kirkby on Bain CE Primary School is a small, rural school with approximately 120 pupils, currently on roll.
Our small, inclusive and caring school provides an embedded family ethos, strong moral purpose, distinctive Christian nature and an outward- facing approach. We care, learn, discover and grow together, aspiring to make a difference to our own lives and the lives of others.
Our school is organised into six classes: Maple (Reception), Chestnut One (Year One), Chestnut Two (Year Two), Willow (Year Three), Ash (Year Four) and Oak (Years Five and Six).
We are looking for a part time School Business Manager to join our team.
